On 4th May 2019, Sheryl Perry will be taking part in a skydive for the Little Edi Foundation!
“Those that know me will understand that this is a big deal for me as I hate heights and the only time I get on a plane is to walk off the other end when it’s landed on terra firma. I have decided to overcome this fear and jump out of the plane to raise money for this excellent charity.”
As a registered charity, the Little Edi Foundation relies heavily on the generosity of volunteers and donors. They have 3 projects currently running which are as follows:
- The Shoebox Project; working in the UK with local schools, nurseries and community groups the Little Edi Fooundation wraps, packs and sends 800 shoe boxes to the very poorest children of the Gilau and Pioen villages in Romania
- The Youth Scheme; funded grants for young people to travel to Romania to distribute aid including food and clothes
- Housing; supplying basic amenities such as water and hygiene facilities
